Did you know that 1 in 3 children suffer from allergies, asthma, autism, or ADHD? (1) Unfourtuantely this is true. Our children are facing issues that we never did growing up. There are many different reasoning behind this, from better diagnosis to generational food changes. Either way, our children are sick and we have to do something about it. Many parents are now looking for natural solutions to common childhood illness as well as chronic conditions. We have to start looking at the child as a whole rather than just simply looking at their symptoms.
Acupuncture is a safe and effective way to address these issues. So whether its a colicky infant or a teen struggling with depression we have to start putting them at the forefront of treatment and prevention. They are our future, we need them as healthy as can be.
My main focus is to find optimal health for your child/teen. In order to do so, I search to find a deep understanding of the nutritional, spiritual, environmental, physical, mental and emotional aspects of well-being in each child.
There are various non-needle techniques that allow for a very comfortable treatment. Acupuncture is designed to be painless for children. There is no need to cause any distress but to equip not only the child but the parents as well with tools and resources needed for optimal health and wellness.
I am a mother. I understand the desire for our children to be well. I also understand the amount of heaviness that can be laden on the parent. This is an opportunity for learning for the whole family. Please let me know if you have any specific questions or concerns. We look forward to guiding you towards wellness at To The Point Acupuncture.
